Chief Financial Officer

Director of Finance

 

This is a part-time, unpaid leadership position, must be a current CU Boulder student

 

Manage and secure funding from CU Boulder and GFI, attend finance meetings and trainings, make purchases, and submit post-funding reports. Also plays a key role in event planning and helps with general tasks such as helping to run meetings, journal clubs, or webinars or other tasks as needed.

Estimated time commitment: 5 hours per month

This is a part-time, unpaid leadership position, must be a current CU Boulder student

 

Starts in May/June 2021. Design and execute marketing and advertising strategy to recruit students and maximize attendance at our club's events. Responsible for managing and delegating tasks related to email marketing, graphic design, copywriting, print advertising, and social media marketing. The Director of Marketing also plays a major role in event planning along with the President, Vice President, and Chief Technology Officer. Also responsible for editing & maintaining website. Marketing or Communication majors encouraged to apply.

Research Intern

This is a part-time, unpaid leadership position, must be a current CU Boulder student

 

Create a database on our website documenting alternative protein research projects that are going on everywhere. Reach out academic researchers as a club representative to ask about their research and if they would be willing to share a recent publication for our journal club paper database.

Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation

 

This is a part-time, unpaid leadership position, must be a current CU Boulder student. Position begins in May/June 2021. 

 

Plans one business-related event with panelists/guest speakers for Fall 2021 to educate students, investors, and venture capitalists about opportunities in the Alt. Protein space. Begins forming an entrepreneurship committee that supports entrepreneurship and innovation in the alternative protein industry here at CU Boulder.

Alt. Protein Course Research Lead

Director of Education

 

This is a part-time, unpaid leadership position, must be a current CU Boulder student. Position begins in May/June 2021.

 

In charge of gathering and going through all the open access Alt. Protein course materials that exist already (Stanford + CAS, Tufts, Berkeley). Provides feedback on what they like and what they don't like to guide the creation of the first CU Boulder Alt. Protein course.
